From Philly to DC: Building Powerful, Inclusive Tech Communities

Curious about what’s happening with tech in Washington, DC? What were the lessons learned building a tech community? What strategies and policies have been successes and failures? How do they see the region as well as the City of Brotherly love? What kind of collaborations are possible?

For PTW we're traversing the 95 corridor to bring together leaders from the Washington DC startup community to discuss DC’s unique ecosystem and share lessons in community building. We’ll also investigate ways to get involved throughout the corridor.

We expect that this dialogue will provide beneficial lessons from both startup communities and spark new opporunities to collaborate.

The event will take place on Thursday, May 5th at MakeOffices in Center City from 4:30-6:00 PM immediately followed by a happy hour reception. Attendance capped at 70 guests due to capacity.
