Intro to Video Production (for girls)

This event is targeted for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls!

Do you want to learn the tips and tricks of an on camera personality? Or maybe you want to call the shots behind the scenes?

La Salle’s Communication Department will host a workshop on video production, everything from storyboarding, script writing, and filming. This workshop is open to all levels of experience with video production from those who have never used a camera to the pros.

You will be creating Public Service Announcements (1 mintue videos) about TechGirlz. Coming up with the script for Public Service Announcement (PSA) and designing how the video will look. You will have the opportunity to be in front of the camera, be behind the camera, or operate it. This is a very hands on workshop where you will learn new skills from current college students and professors who have a lot of experience with video production. Your PSAs will be posted on La Salle Unitversity's television station La Salle TV's YouTube channel and will be played on La Salle TV channel 56 on Comcast.
