PACT Startup Fundraising Workshop

Join us during Philly Tech Week as we discuss the basics of startup fundraising, from self-help, to crowdfunding, to institutional investors.

This workshop will cover:

• The sources of early stage funding (self-help, bootstrapping, friends/family/fools, accelerators, crowdfunding, angels, VCs, corporate and strategic partners).
• The various means of raising capital (founders stock, common stock, SAFEs, KISSes, convertible debt, preferred stock, grants).
• The new regulatory environment, including Reg A+
• The observable trends in funding that every entrepreneur should know.

We'll also hear ​from Penn about how the University facilitates and supports commercialization and funding, and hear directly from a Penn startup CEO about their own first-hand fundraising experience.​
