The Blackstone LaunchPad is a co-curricular program that is open to all students, staff and alumni of Philadelphia University, regardless of academic major. It connects ideas, people and resources to provide coaching for students interested in entrepreneurship or developing entrepreneurial skills and knowledge, as well as those with specific ideas they intend to pursue.
In 1966, The Philadelphia Bar Association established Community Legal Services (CLS) as an independent 501(c)(3) organization to provide free legal services, in civil matters, to low-income Philadelphians. The Upper Darby Township and Sellers Memorial Free Public Library system dates from the 1930s. Beginning with a small collection of 1300 gift books in two rented rooms, the library has grown to a library system with three branches and a collection of over 118,00 books, magazines, audiobooks, music CDs, and DVDs available for borrowing.
