Chris Rossi

Chris Rossi is Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at AppliedTrust, where he provides expert-level IT systems and security consulting services for a variety of healthcare, federal, municipal and private organizations, Chris also serves as an outsourced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for several healthcare organizations, helping them establish and maintain strategies and programs to ensure their information assets are adequately protected. Chris previously served as Director of Application Security, where he was responsible for leading AppliedTrust’s efforts to help clients identify and mitigate security flaws throughout the life cycle of their web application code, including the design, development, deployment, upgrades, and maintenance phases. Chris was heavily involved in the local Boulder Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) chapter and was part of the team that implemented the capture the flag event at SnowFROC 2013. Since moving back to Philadelphia in April 2015, he has focused his attention on running the Philadelphia InfoSec Meetup with founder Leo Serrano.
