Jonah is a long-time entrepreneur, open-source contributor, and member of the OakTable Network.

As the CTO at MeetMe, Jonah empowers a team of talented engineers to deliver a consistently modern, stable, and performant social discovery mobile application.

With over 100 million registered members and 36 million installations, MeetMe strives to be easy-to-use, while leveraging the latest technologies, algorithms, and advances in Data Science, to introduce its members to others they would like to meet. At MeetMe, we call this, "Engineering Serendipity."

Jonah began programming as a third grader with nothing more than a Commodore VIC-20 and BASIC. He is an avid believer in the power of open-source and is a recognized industry expert in performance, internals, file formats, and network protocols of Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and InnoDB.
