Keith Leaphart

Dr. Leaphart is the founder and creative visionary behind Wallsome, a Philadelphia-based design and print firm, specializing in large format printing projects and creative wall graphics.

Wallsome’s parent company, Replica Creative, was established over 30 years ago as a small a black-and-white copy shop with a client base that represented law firms in the Center City area. Dr. Leaphart took over Replica Creative in 2009 and has grown it in to one of the most respected design and print firms in the region.

The leap into large format printing and Wallsome’s custom wall graphics was a strategic decision to develop a direct to consumer platform. Prior to his working in printing, Dr. Leaphart worked as a “long-term” substitute in the Philadelphia public school system at George Washington Carver High School for Engineering and Science. Also, while earning a dual DO/MBA degree, he worked as an administrative intern at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and established and operated both a commercial cleaning and an event planning business.

In 2007, Dr. Leaphart considered running for US congress, but he believed he could do more for Philadelphia by bridging the gap between leaders in the public and private sectors. He led this effort as an Executive on Loan from The Lenfest Foundation to the City of Philadelphia, assisting with the development and implementation of the City’s ex-offender reintegration strategy.

Dr. Leaphart serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for The Lenfest Foundation, which focuses on helping disadvantaged youth in Philadelphia in three areas: early childhood education, out-of-school care and career and technical education. He currently sits on the boards of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB), Boys Latin Charter School, Philadelphia Media Network, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, The Science Center and The Lenfest Scholars Foundation.

Born and raised in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, Dr. Leaphart earned a BS in Biology from Hampton University and a DO/MBA from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Saint Joseph’s University. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
